to the space side of the window frame, the tubular incoming shaft by means of the sleeve being pullable in the axial direction outwards towards said spring force to release the lifting ropes.
With the control device according to the invention, the angular position of the slatted curtain is adjustable by turning the sleeve and the slatted curtain can be pulled up by pulling the lifting ropes, whereby it automatically locks at the desired level as soon as the traction force directed on the lifting ropes ceases.
By pulling the sleeve slightly outwards, the lifting ropes are released and the slatted curtain folds downwards as long as the sleeve is kept in the extended position.
To reduce the friction acting against the movement of the lifting ropes, a freely rotating horizontal roller is mounted at the end of the box and in front of the gap formed between the gearbox roller with a rake surface and the ripped surface on the gearbox wall a second freely rotating roller is mounted, above which rollers the ly fi lines are drawn.
The ends of the lifting ropes are preferably connected to a hollow cylindrical plug, which is dimensioned so that it fits into a cup-shaped extension which is formed in the end of the sleeve projecting from the window frame.
As an alternative solution, a second hole (not shown) has been made in the lower edge of the window frame through which the ends of the lifting ropes are led back to the inside of the window construction, where they are attached to the lower rail of the slatted curtain so that on the room side of the window, The lifting position of the railing curtain is always an equal link of the lifting ropes, as the ends of the lifting ropes follow the movement of the lower rail of the railing rail when the railing curtain is pulled up and falls back down.
The gearbox is preferably mounted at such a level that the vertical distance from the sleeve extending through the window frame to the slatted drawer is at least as great as the distance between the top position and the bottom position of the slatted curtain lower strip, the plug connecting the ends of the lifting ropes is drawn sealingly into the cup-shaped extension at the end of the sleeve, which extends through the window frame, when the slatted door reaches the lowered position.
The gearbox can be attached to the window frame by means of a metal frame which can be screwed onto it and has two legs projecting from the surface of the frame with slots which receive and hold locking stoves formed on the gearbox's two opposite side walls and an end shaft of the gearbox. provided support for the flexible wire or shaft attached to the output shaft.
The hollow cylindrical plug connecting the ends of the lifting ropes is preferably formed by two articulated cylinder halves, one end of which in the middle of the straight edge has a semicircular depression, which cylinder halves are lockable in locked position by means of snap locks. According to an embodiment, the ends of the lifting ropes are first connected to each other by means of a knot, which knot is enclosed in the cavity of said plug. According to another embodiment, both ends of the lifting ropes have their own knot, which knots are placed in a common hollow plug. As a result of this solution, the plug opens automatically, if the lifting ropes are exposed to a force that pulls them apart, which prevents any accidents if e.g. a baby or a pet during its play would become entangled in the lifting ropes.
According to a preferred embodiment, the gearbox for its construction is such that the output shaft is provided with a cylinder gear with inclined teeth, which is in gear contact with a screw on a first horizontal shaft, which horizontal shaft is also provided with a cylinder gear , which is in gear contact with a smaller cylinder gear on said tubular horizontal incoming shaft, the ratio between the number of teeth on these two cylinder gears being chosen so that the rotational movement of the sleeve is transmitted in the desired relation to the shaft regulating the angular position of the slats.
In the following, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing, where fi g. 1 shows an example of a window frame, on which a slatted curtain provided with a control mechanism according to the invention is mounted, seen from the room side; fi g. 2 shows a view of the corresponding window frame seen from the opposite side; and Fig. 3 shows a partial section of a window frame, in which the control mechanism according to the invention is mounted.
The control mechanism for a slatted curtain shown in the figures is intended for a slatted curtain mountable on the side of an inner window facing the window construction, the drawer 1 of which in the form of a U-rail is fastened to the upper part of the inner window arc 2. This box 1 contains a rotatably mounted shaft 3, with which by rotating the angular position of the slats 4 of the slatted curtain can be adjusted. For this purpose, at least two parallel control lens pairs 5 are drawn along both edges of the slats 4 of the slatted curtain, which sling pairs 5 are fixed at both edges of each slat 4 of the slatted curtain, and the upper ends of each pair of control slings 5 are wound from opposite sides around a cylinder 6 attached to the shaft 3, intended for the pair in question and attached to it. The lifting ropes 7 of the slatted curtain, which are passed through all the slats 4 of the slatted curtain and which at one end are attached to the lower strip 4a of the slatted curtain and led up to said box 1 and out of it at the same end as the shaft of the rotatably mounted shaft. 3 coupled means, which transmits the rotational movement to the shaft 3.
The means in question is a flexible wire 8, one end of which in the embodiment shown is fixed to the upper end of a shaft 9, which extends vertically and which in its lower end is rotatably connected to a vertical gearbox 10 attached to the lower part of the window frame 2. output shaft 11. This output drive shaft 11 is connected via a gear system to the tubular horizontal incoming shaft 12 of the gearbox 10, to which a sleeve 13, which extends through the window frame 2, is rigidly coupled. By turning this sleeve 13, a change in the angular position of the slats of the slatted curtain is obtained.
Mounted in the other end of the tubular shaft 12 via a freely rotatable fork piece 14 is mounted a roller 15 provided with a grooved surface, which on the action of a spring force is arranged to press against a grooved surface 16 formed on the gearbox wall. This arrangement forms an automatically functioning well arrangement. for the slat curtain lifting ropes 7, which lifting ropes 7 from the end of the box 1 in the form of a U-rail are guided between said roller 15 and the grooved surface 16 via the tubular shaft 12 and the sleeve 13 to the space side of the window frame 2. The tubular shaft 12 can be pulled via the sleeve 13 against said spring force axially outwards, whereby the lifting lines 7 are released and the slatted curtain is lowered.
The ends of the lifting ropes 7 are connected on the space side of the window construction to a cylindrical plug 17, which is dimensioned so as to fit into a cup-shaped extension 13a formed at the end of the sleeve 13 projecting from the window frame 2. By pulling on this plug 17, the slatted curtain can be pulled up to the desired level, where it is kept locked on the action of the spring-loaded roller 15 with a grooved surface, until said sleeve 13 is pulled outwards to fall down the slatted curtain or it is fixed to the lifting ropes 7. the plug 17 is pulled out further to pull the slatted curtain even higher. To facilitate the movement of the slatted curtain, a freely rotatable first horizontal roller 18 is mounted at the end of the box 1 and in front of the gap between the roller 15 of the gearbox 10 with a grooved surface and the grooved surface 16 on the wall of the gearbox is a second freely rotatable roller 19 mounted to reduce the friction between the lifting ropes 7 and the stationary parts of the control mechanism.
When the gearbox 10 of the control mechanism is mounted at such a level that the vertical distance between the sleeve 13, which extends through the window frame 2, and the drawer drawer 1 is at least as large as the distance between the upper position and the lower position of the lower slat curtain strip 4, the plug 17, which connects the lifting ropes 7, is made to stand sealingly in the cup-shaped extension 13a of the sleeve 13 which extends through the window frame 2, when the slatted curtain is in its lowered position.
The gearbox 10 is fixed to the window frame by means of a metal tower 18 pushed onto it with two legs 1sa, which protrude from the surface of the frame and the outer edge of which has slots 18b, each receiving and holding on the two opposite side walls of the gearbox formed a locking cam 10a. of the output shaft 12 of the gearbox arranged with a guide hole provided with a guide hole 18c for the shaft 9 fixed to the output shaft 12.
The hollow cylindrical plug 17 connecting the ends of the lifting ropes 7 is preferably formed by two articulated cylinder halves whose straight edge in one end has a semicircular recess in the middle for the lifting ropes 7, which cylinder halves can be closed by means of snap locks or closing hoops. both ends with their own knot into the cavity of the plug.
In the embodiment shown, the gearbox 10 for its construction is such that the output shaft 11 is provided with a cylinder gear 20 with inclined teeth, which is in gear contact with a screw 22 on a first horizontal shaft 21, which horizontal shaft 21 also has a cylinder gear 23, which in turn is in gear contact with a smaller cylindrical gear on said tubular horizontal incoming shaft 12, by which the rotational movement of the sleeve 13 is transmitted via said gears 21 and 23 and the screw 22 to the output shaft 11 of the gearbox and thence further via the shaft 9 and the wire 8 to the shaft 3 in the box 1, to turn it.
